Dwellop AS serves as the data controller for the personal data collected and processed in connection with your job application.
This privacy policy provides detailed information about the personal data
we process, the purposes of processing, and your rights regarding this data.
Personal Data We Process and Purpose
As part of your job application, we collect and process various personal data during the recruitment process. Some of this data is provided by you, while other information may be obtained from third parties, as explained below.
We register your name, age, gender, residential address, email address, and
phone number in our systems. This information is provided directly by you.
We also process data included in your application and CV, such as diplomas, certificates, references, and our internal assessments of your qualifications.
While some of this information is provided by you, other details may be
obtained from references or derived from our evaluations. The purpose of processing this personal data is to ensure an accurate and efficient recruitment process, allowing us to select the most qualified
candidate for the position.
Legal Basis for Processing Your Personal Data
The primary legal basis for processing your personal data is Article 6(1)(b) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which permits
processing necessary to take steps prior to entering into a contract.
If we wish to retain your data beyond the recruitment process, we will seek
your consent. Consent is a legal basis under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
If sensitive personal data is processed during the recruitment process, this
will be based on Article 9(2)(b) of the GDPR.
Sharing Your Personal Data
Dwellop AS uses data processors to handle personal data on our behalf. We have established data processing agreements with:
• Upheads – responsible for the management of our IT systems.
Additionally, we use Finn.no as part of our recruitment process. Finn.no
operates as an independent data controller for the services it provides,
including personal data managed through its applicant handling services.
Where We Process Your Data
Your personal data is stored on servers located in Norway.
Retention Period for Your Personal Data
Personal data for applicants who are not hired will be deleted after the
recruitment process is concluded (no later than 6 months), unless you
provide consent for a longer retention period. The specific retention period
will be stated in such consent.
Your Rights as a Job Applicant
As a job applicant, you have several rights under data protection
regulations. Below is an overview of the most important ones. If you have
any questions, please contact our HR representative (see contact
information below).
• You have the right to request information about how we process
your personal data and to access the data we hold about you.
• If you identify any inaccuracies in your personal data, you have the
right to request corrections.
• You may request the deletion of your personal data, except where
we have a legal basis for retaining it.
• If you disagree with how we process your personal data, you have
the right to file a complaint with us. You may also lodge a complaint
with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any concerns directly.
If you wish to exercise your rights, we will respond promptly and no later
than within 30 days.
